Camps
Throughout our Guiding Territories, we maintain a variety of Camps all fitted out with necessary equipment and supplies to accommodate the hunting party and keep everybody warm and dry and well fed. Base camps consist of Cabins and/or large plywood floored Canvas Wall tent style Tents. Base camps have a dedicated Cook and electrical power and are the most comfortable of the Camps. Base camps may accommodate up to 10 Clients, some of which will be hunting out of the Base camp but for others, the Base camp may only be a stopover point on the way to or from an outlying Camp called Spike Camp. Spike Camps can be a small cabin and/or Wall Tent, or light weight Mountain Tents, and may accommodate up to 2 Clients. Camps may have specialized communication equipment used only for necessary communication between Guide and Outfitter and/or for emergency purposes. Because of remoteness and Mountainous terrain, cell phones generally do not work. If a Client requires communications, we encourage him to bring his own Satellite Telephone or rent a unit from us (see Extras).
