Our Guides are mature and familiar with most of the country. Each particular hunt will be lead by a very well experienced Guide familiar with all aspects of the hunt. Please bear in mind that there could be times where the hunt leads into unknown areas to follow that super Trophy.
All Guides speak English, some also speak German, French or an Indian dialect. If you absolutely require a Guide speaking another Language other then english, be sure this is specified in the contract.
On hunts in the lower elevations where Boats, ATV's or 4x4's are used, it is possible to have 2 hunters be guided by 1 Guide.
On hunts in the higher elevations, particular Fly in hunts, we recommond Hunter/Guide ratio should be 1 to 1.
On Hunt # 12, there will be 2 Guides allotted to guide the Hunter.
Like every important aspect of the hunt, the Hunter/Guide ratio is clearly stated in our Contract.
Tips/Gratitude
Our Guides are professional and are paid a very attractive base salary plus success Bonuses for Animals harvested by the Client they have guided. Regardless of this, it has become increasingly difficult to attract the right people to work as Guides. The best Guides would probably work for nothing just for being out there and to hunt on places very few people will ever see. But the truth is even Guides have Pickup Truck payments and mortgages and Wives and Kids and all those bills which just keep coming. Most Clients recognize exceptional performance and reward their Guide with a sizable tip which is much appreciated.
